Loras College
Loras College is a private Catholic liberal arts college in Dubuque, Iowa, offering over 50 undergraduate majors and minors, strong personalized education, and opportunities for hands-on experience and internships. The college is rooted in Catholic values, and welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds. We take pride in our small class sizes and personal attention students receive from faculty and staff. We have a 12:1 student/faculty ratio and the average classroom size is about 25 students. We offer a wide variety of different sports, music & theatre programs, and clubs to keep students involved on campus. Dubuque has 60,000 people with a wide variety of entertainment and multiple colleges within a few miles.
*Cumulative GPA required: Overall cumulative transfer GPA of 2.5/4.0. Students who fall below the 2.5 will go through a director review process. If students fall below a 2.5 then we might want to see high school grades grades. We also might want them to fill out a director review form to provide additional information. We might also want to connect with a counselor from their previous college.
