Northwestern College
Iowa’s Standout Christian College, Northwestern College provides an education committed to excellent academics and a Christ-centered worldview in a community in which students are known and valued. Consistently rated a Money magazine best college, Northwestern also has been named a best college for spiritual enrichment by Christianity Today. Enrolling more than 1,700 students, Northwestern offers more than 135 programs, including bachelor’s degrees; online master’s degrees in business, counseling and education; and an on-site master’s degree program in physician assistant studies. Northwestern offers internship opportunities locally, regionally and throughout the country. Study abroad programs are available in over 20 countries.
*Cumulative GPA required: Transfers 1. Transfer applicants with a college GPA ≥ 2.25 will be automatically admitted 2. Transfer applicants with a college GPA of 2.0 to 2.24 may be admitted, pending approval by the VP for enrollment and the director of academic support after review of college transcripts and other requested documentation 3. Applicants with a college GPA ≤ 1.99 will be denied admission GPA per course - students need to achieve a "C" or greater for a course to transfer to Northwestern. More than $75 million has been spent on construction and renovation projects in the last decade, including the Christy Suites residence hall for women, which opened this fall. Construction is underway on Northwestern’s new engineering lab and on an addition to the Bultman Center for Health, Physical Education and Intercollegiate Athletics.
